Jennifer Ohlson –Founder, President : Jen leads IHT’s efforts to connect and strengthen the overall collaborative mission to effect real change in the health of youth, workforce and communities. Jen consults directly with a number of foremost organizations, including secondary and elementary schools, universities, corporations and cities throughout the nation. She also works closely with several state agencies, community leaders state and nationwide, leading-edge researchers and technology partners as they work together in the development of the program. Jen has also just completed writing and directing her first feature film, an educational documentary, “Health Needs a Hero”, that details the epidemic of our childhood health issues. Jen built her career excelling at business strategy and long-range plan development and execution. She cultivated those management skills as an elite athlete, coach, television sports reporter and as a national award-winning published author and public speaker. Ben Bentzin – Founder, CEO: Ben is a former corporate marketer and an active investor and strategic marketing consultant. His areas of focus include brand development, product marketing, social media and corporate communications. Ben has more than 20 years of operational experience within start-up and early-stage companies specifically in the technology realm. He has served in various senior management, CEO and executive positions including Fortune 500 company management experience. Ben also teaches in the marketing department at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business and severs on numerous non profit Boards, this year chairing The United Way Campaign. Beth Kirkpatrick - Director of Education: As one of the key architects of the technology movement in Physical Education for over thirty years, Beth oversees IHT’s impact, growth and reach. Her experience and comprehensive understanding of heart rate monitor technology, along with her passion and vision strengthens IHT’s ability to become the gold standard in the educational market. Before joining IHT, Beth was the Director of Education for Polar Electro, Inc. for 18 years, where she was known nationwide and globally as the pioneer of heart rate monitor use in education. Under Beth’s leadership and influence, she motivated her profession to move to the future with technology, while becoming one of the most sought after keynote speakers in the industry, worldwide. With 20 years of experience teaching health and PE,she has been nationally recognized for her renowned teaching methods and has been the recipient of numerous “Teacher of the Year” and leadership awards. Sally Edwards MA, MBA - Exercise Science Specialist:Sally is one of America 's leading experts in exercise science and lifestyle living utilizing heart rate monitor technology. She created the Heart Zones Training proprietary and branded training system, an international training, education, and coaching program, in which IHT is exclusively integrating into the Spirit System for the educational market. Sally is a best-selling author with more than 20 books and 500 articles on health and fitness including the popular book Heart Rate Monitor Guidebook. This professional triathlete is a 16-time Ironman finisher, a member of the Triathlon Hall of Fame, and past winner of the ultra-marathon, the hundred mile Western States Endurance Run. She founded and franchised America's largest chain of retail sports shops, FLEET FEET Sports

Elizabeth Webb, Program and Operations Director:Elizabeth brings enormous organizational, program and event management skills to our IHT team. After a 25 year career in advertising sales and marketing, Elizabeth returned to school at The University of Texas to further her education in sports management. After graduation Elizabeth joined USRowing in Princeton, New Jersey as Event Manager, managing all National Championship Regattas as well as the USRowing Annual Convention. With her focus and vision turned to health and sport initiatives she has now coupled her strong background in logistical operations and event management to lead our IHT team. Since becoming a part of our team Elizabeth has drastically changed her personal life and redirected her passion and desire to make healthy lifestyle changes. She has become an avid runner and will soon compete in her first half marathon in 2012. This change has also furthered her passion to get children and their families on a similar path to health.
