Jen Ohlson is the founder and President of Interactive Health Technologies, LLC and a highly regarded speaker who provides a powerful, inspirational call for health awareness, citizen and political leadership and involvement.
Jen built her career excelling at business strategy and long-range plan development and execution. She cultivated those management skills as an elite athlete, coach, television sports reporter, as a national award winning published author, public speaker and has created several award winning school and community based solutions that are revolutionizing physical education in the digital age.
After graduating from George Mason University, she began her own production company, which one of her shows became the highest-rated local sports show in the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland areas. Additionally, Jen managed 7 different cable network efforts, later selling one of the programs to FOX. Jen took that experience coupled with her story-telling ability to some of the top television markets in the country as a sports reporter in Washington DC, Dallas and Austin. In 2007, The University of Texas contracted her to implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to improve attendance, which she did successfully, while also hosting UT’s coaches show on-air.
On a personal note, she has run 35 marathons and 3 Ironman triathlons, including, finishing as the top female from Texas at the World Championship in Hawaii in 2001. Her successes personally and professionally can be attributed to her many years of competing in sports. To date she still holds the honor as the most lettered athlete in Colorado history, with 15 letters in 5 sports and multiple All-American and All-State honors. She was named the USA Today “Colorado Athlete of the Year” her senior year in high school which led her to a scholarship to GMU. Jen’s experience, character, integrity and vision direct her passion to facilitate health and wellness in families, their children and communities across the nation.

The importance of communications and community -- Whether it’s a team, a business, or an entire city, Jen draws on, and shares with her audiences many of the beliefs and values she's learned while interviewing some of the country's most remarkable individuals for her book and as a television reporter. She also shares her own guidance on how to bring people together for a common good.
Visionary Leadership -- Through her work creating the PE 3 Course, which was so successful at reversing obesity in high school students, the Texas Education Agency awarded it statewide implementation throughout Texas, to writing and directing the powerful documentary "Health Needs a Hero", Jen has spent the past several years getting to the root of our childhood health issues and created legitamate solutions that can be applied for long-term success in reversing the trends.
