Jen Ohlson

In 2010, Jen was researching childhood health challenges related to obesity and emotional disturbances for her debut documentary “Health Needs a Hero." The former TV sportscaster and author was looking for one student to share their story. Instead, Jen uncovered 1,000 students in the San Antonio School District with a body mass index (BMI) over 40. Deeply inspired to find a way to empower young people to take ownership of their own health, Jen founded IHT.

Ben Bentzin

Ben leads IHT’s focus in product development and has positioned IHT as a market leader in educational assessment. Having worked in various senior management and CEO positions, Ben has more than 20 years of operational experience within early-stage companies. He also teaches in the Marketing Department at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business and serves on numerous nonprofit boards.

Eric Larson

Eric is responsible for new business development and territory management in the Southwest, West and Southeast regions. A Colorado resident, Eric followed a distinguished 35-year career with the Denver Public Schools serving as the National PE and Physical Activity Advisor with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation before joining IHT. With the Denver Schools, Eric served as an award-winning educator, both as a PE teacher and administrator. Eric is an accomplished baseball and softball coach, as well as a basketball referee, officiating women’s college games, including the 2003 Women’s Final Four. He’s an avid golfer in his free time.

Clareann Grimaldi

Clareann has spent her career working with research institutions and technology start-ups in various educational settings. She serves IHT's Midwest and Northeast clients, both in account management and inbound sales. Clareann excels at helping customers understand how IHT connects educators and students in meaningful ways. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Fordham University and doctorate in Education and Technology from Columbia University. Clareann lives in the Hudson Valley in NY.

Mark Castelo

Mark manages IHT’s inbound sales for the Southwest, West and Southeast regions and helps optimize IHT’s overall sales and digital marketing strategies. He brings his experience from working at a Fortune 20 tech company and tech start-ups in the wellness industry. A New Mexico native, Mark is an accomplished musician and cyclist. While at New Mexico State University, he developed a passion for traveling and cycling while earning degrees in Marketing and Management. He’s won numerous races and travels throughout the US and Canada to compete.

Bev Brown

Bev serves as IHT’s Director of Customer Success, working to ensure we deliver superior service, training and continual support to our customers. Bev taught Physical Education for 26 years at the secondary level before moving into higher education at Buena Vista University, where she was an IHT customer and advisor. Bev served two years on the Governor’s Council on PE and Nutrition in Iowa before being named President of Iowa’s State Physical Education organization in 2015. She is an avid pickleball player and enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Charlie and Jane.

Brandon Wolff

An accomplished teacher, coach and educational leader in Kansas, Brandon was an IHT customer and advisor before joining IHT. As both Account Manager and Customer Success Manager, he works closely with teachers, schools, and districts to maximize and expand their use of IHT. In 2014, Brandon was named the Kansas Middle School Teacher of the Year and 2015 SHAPE America Central District Middle School Teacher of the Year. In his free time, he shares time with his family and you can find him most weekends at a wedding or party, serving as a wedding officiant and professional DJ.

Lois Mauch

Lois serves as IHT's Director of Education and Customer Success Manager for our West, Southwest, Southeast, and international clients. Lois earned her master's degree at Virginia Tech and is a certified online PE instructor and published author. Prior to IHT, Lois had a distinguished career as a physical education teacher and administrator with the Fargo Public Schools, where she was an IHT customer and advisor. She also served as an instructor in methodology and technology at the collegiate level. Lois lives in Fargo, ND with her husband Bob and enjoys spending her free time with her beautiful family.

Jessica Kral

Jessica brings a wealth of experience and leadership to IHT. Her attention to detail and management skills have immensely strengthened IHT’s customer service and operational efforts. She oversees our day-to-day operations and manages administrative, logistical duties, as well as works with school IT directors and our software team. A native Nebraskan born in Iowa, she moved to Austin in 2004 to work for a software start-up company before joining IHT. Jessica is married with two beautiful daughters. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, cooking, reading and football. Despite living in Texas, she remains a loyal Husker fan!

Elizabeth Webb

Elizabeth returns to IHT as a member of our Operations Department, providing customer support in the areas of replacement orders, auto rosters and other administrative and operational areas. Elizabeth is a graduate of The University of Texas and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management with an emphasis in Event Management. Elizabeth spent time working for non-profits before rejoining the IHT team. Her hobbies include rowing, hiking, kayaking and traveling in her RV.

Sam Heuck

Sam grew up on a cattle ranch in Wyoming which means he’s hard-working and resourceful at heart. Luckily, diligence and resourcefulness are also useful skills as IHT’s Senior Software Developer. Sam has an instinctive drive to understand the many layers of technology and his passion lies in solving real world business problems. To that end, he’s helped develop IHT’s software as a user-friendly and easy-to use platform that makes life just a little better for our customers. Sam holds a B.A. in Music Technology from Montana State University-Bozeman. When not working he enjoys making music with his wife and young son.

Jay Plotkin

A native of Virginia, Jay has spent the last 20 years in Austin telling stories, first as a writer, editor and publisher of two award-winning community newspapers affiliated with the Austin American-Statesman, the Lake Travis View and Westlake Picayune. Jay manages IHT’s digital marketing, website optimization, and search engine optimization and also develops content that details the success of the teachers using IHT's heart rate technology with their students. Jay is married with identical twin daughters who are active in dance and soccer. He enjoys golf, basketball, tennis and running. He is an avid college football, basketball, and all-around University of Texas Longhorns fan.
