Our Commitment to Quality: IHT Limited Hardware Warranty

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

At Interactive Health Technologies (IHT), we stand behind the quality of our hardware and the partnerships we build with our customers. This Limited Hardware Warranty outlines the coverage provided for IHT-branded products, the process for obtaining service, and how this warranty relates to our applicable commercial terms.

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Limited Warranty

Interactive Health Technologies LLC (“IHT”) warrants that its hardware products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal supervised use for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the customer. Normal supervised use includes typical operation in educational, clinical, wellness, or personal environments.

1.2 Applicability

This warranty applies to all IHT-branded hardware products purchased directly from IHT or through an authorized reseller. This warranty applies only to physical hardware products and does not apply to software, subscriptions, or digital services.

2. What Is Covered

2.1 Covered Defects

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that arise during normal use.

2.2 Required Firmware Updates & Charging Compliance

IHT hardware devices require periodic firmware updates to maintain proper functionality, battery performance, charging capability, and system compatibility.

Customers are responsible for installing required firmware updates within a reasonable timeframe after notification by IHT. Firmware updates may be communicated through email, in-app notifications, website postings, or customer support communications.

Failure to install required firmware updates may result in reduced performance, charging failure, battery degradation, connectivity issues, or permanent device malfunction.

Hardware damage, charging failure, battery failure, or device malfunction resulting from failure to install required firmware updates shall not be considered a defect in materials or workmanship and is not covered under this Limited Hardware Warranty.

IHT reserves the right to require confirmation that a device is operating on current firmware prior to approving warranty repair or replacement.

2.3 Charging Case Power Requirements

To ensure reliable performance and maximize the service life of the Spirit charging case and heart rate monitors, the charging case must be plugged directly into a properly functioning, UL-listed surge protector. The surge protector itself must be plugged directly into a properly grounded wall outlet. Do not plug the charging case directly into a wall outlet, a charging cart, or into any power strip, extension cord, or other device.

Like many electronic devices, the Spirit charging system may be affected by poor power quality, including electrical surges, voltage fluctuations, and electrical line interference (sometimes referred to as “dirty electricity”). These conditions can adversely affect charging performance and may cause damage to the charging case and connected monitors.

Damage resulting from improper electrical connections, failure to use a surge protector as specified above, power surges, voltage fluctuations, electrical line interference, or other external electrical events is not covered under the IHT Limited Warranty. Failure to operate the charging case in accordance with these requirements may void the warranty for both the charging case and any Spirit heart rate monitors connected to the charging case.

Required power configuration: Wall Outlet → UL-Listed Surge Protector → Spirit Charging Case

This configuration is a required operating condition and is intended to safeguard the equipment from common electrical disturbances that can occur in commercial, educational, and residential facilities.

3. What Is Not Covered

3.1 Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Improper cleaning agents or cleaning methods

  • Exposure to liquids not approved for electronic devices
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Failure to install required firmware or software updates after notification by IHT
  • Failure to use a properly functioning surge protector when charging
  • Damage caused by power surges, improper electrical connections, unprotected power sources, or other external electrical events

3.2 Voidance

Warranty coverage is void if damage is determined by IHT to have resulted from misuse, improper handling, failure to install required firmware updates, or other external causes.

6. Limitation of Warranty

6.1 Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated herein, IHT disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
