Presidential Youth Fitness Program
The Presidential Youth Fitness Program (PYFP) is the national model for fitness and health education and assessment in schools. In 1956 President Eisenhower created this national testing program, which today is a high-tech, data-driven strategy that empowers youth to be healthy for life.
National Fitness Foundation
The National Fitness Foundation is the only congressionally chartered nonprofit focused on health and fitness. The Foundation develops partnerships like IHT to help expand programs like PYFP. It is the official charity of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition.
