Interactive Health Technologies, LLC joins the physical education community in mourning the sudden passing of Nancy Eklund.
A pillar in the PE community, Eklund was instrumental in helping IHT gain footing, especially in Wyoming as a partner with the Wyoming Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (WAHPERD).
“Nancy was an amazing leader and visionary in the PE world,” said IHT President and co-founder Jen Ohlson. “I first met Nancy in early 2013 as IHT was just starting and she has been a friend, customer, advocate, and advisor ever since. We’ll miss this incredible light who positively impacted every single person she met.”
“She has been a huge cheerleader for physical education overall and WAHPERD specifically,” said IHT Director of Education Lois Mauch, who worked closely with Eklund for 20 years. “She was my counselor, advisor, friend, and mentor, and all of physical education will feel the void she leaves.”
