Privacy of customer information is important to Interactive Health Technologies LLC (IHT). This Privacy Policy summarizes how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store customer information.
Personal information is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person. IHT customers, prospective customers, and partners provide personal information in conjunction with the use of IHT products and services. IHT does not share personally identifiable information with anyone other than authorized representatives of the customer providing the information, except as provided below.
What Personal Information We Collect: – Customer name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and organizational information – Participant information, such as names, email addresses, assessment measurements, and other customer-defined data
How We Use Customer Personal Information: – To provide and support IHT products and services – To grant customers access to participant data relevant to their organization – To improve our products, services, communications, and marketing – For internal auditing, data analysis, and research
These uses apply to IHT customers and representatives. Student data is governed separately under the “K-12 Student Privacy” section.
IHT is committed to protecting the privacy of student users: – We do not collect, use, or share student data beyond authorized educational purposes – We do not sell student personal information – We do not use student data for behavioral advertising or commercial profiling – We will not retain student data beyond what is necessary or authorized – All data collected is under the control of the educational institution or parent/guardian – We will not make material changes to our privacy practices without prominent notice and choice
Student data is protected using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Vendors working with IHT are contractually obligated to uphold these same protections. In the case of merger or acquisition, these protections remain in effect.
IHT devices use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to securely connect with IHT-approved mobile and classroom applications. Bluetooth communication is limited to pairing with IHT software and is used solely for initiating sessions, transmitting heart rate data, and activating devices.
No personally identifiable information is transmitted directly over Bluetooth. All data transfer is encrypted and authenticated through secure application protocols.
When using the IHT Spirit Classroom or Mobile App, the following data may be collected: – Device ID and user assignment – Session timestamps and durations – Heart rate data (BPM, time in zone) – Breathe prompts and emotional reflection events
This data is used solely to support educational wellness insights, reporting, and personalized feedback. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
IHT retains customer and participant personal information only as long as needed to fulfill service purposes or as required by law. Upon written request or service termination, IHT will return the customer’s data in an encrypted format (e.g., SQL database) and permanently delete it from all systems within 30 business days unless retention is legally required.
Customers remain the data owners of any information provided to IHT.
IHT uses industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Data is stored on secure U.S.-based servers behind managed firewalls. Backups are performed regularly and security patches applied daily.
IHT websites and applications use SSL/TLS encryption to protect data during transmission. Application data is encrypted at rest, and access is limited to authorized personnel using multifactor authentication.
Personal information may be shared with service providers who assist IHT with data hosting, support, analytics, and communication. All vendors are contractually required to protect information under this policy and applicable federal privacy laws, including FERPA and COPPA.
We do not share information for third-party marketing.
Disclosures may also occur to comply with legal obligations or to protect IHT’s legal rights.
Parents, students (where applicable), and customers may request: – Access to their data – Correction of inaccurate information – Deletion of personal or student data – A copy of their data in a portable format

IHT products and websites may link to external services. These third-party platforms are governed by their own privacy policies. Users are encouraged to review them separately.
IHT enforces internal privacy safeguards and requires all employees to follow strict security protocols. All staff are trained in data protection practices.
IHT may update this Privacy Policy periodically. For material changes, customers will be notified and given the opportunity to consent before any new practices take effect.
